This week on the Weekly Wellness Walk with Docktor-Mom podcast our three cohosts revisit two of the most beloved recipes in their ketogenic arsenal. Being 100% Italian, I know that I personally missed pizza more than any other food when I decided to go Keto. I had reserved myself to the fact that I would never be able to eat another slice again. Several months ago Docktor-Mom and I were given a recipe for a ketogenic pizza that not only was keto friendly, but tasted great (thanks Laura!). This pizza has really been a game-changer for me and my family. Not only do my wife and I enjoy this recipe, but my finicky children love it too!
As or the chocolate-peanut butter fat bombs, there isn’t much else to say, they’re chocolate and peanut butter. Reese’s has made a fortune off of this combination for decades! Again, I didn’t really know what I was missing when I dramatically changed my diet 18 months ago, but snacks like fat bombs go a long way in helping me to maintain my weight loss.
The Recipe Rewind part of the podcast is an update. When we shot the initial videos for both the keto pizza and the chocolate peanut butter fat bombs, we hadn’t perfected our recipes yet. Over the past several months we’ve tried different variations, cooking supplies and ingredients, and wanted to make sure our listeners had all the lasted tech when it comes to giving these recipes a try.
